Hire guards but still don’t introduce firearms
No, any firearms not for hunting should be outlawed in Canada. If there are no guns, there is much less need for a gun.
@93RH9D8New Democratic3yrs3Y
depends on where the school is and they should have a licence and mental tests done to see if they are capeable of carrying a gun
@8W4BGQ5New Democratic4yrs4Y
No! Are you kidding me?!?!? How is this even a question?!?!? No guns at all should be allowed in Canada!

It is teachers jobs to teach and educate our children. They don’t even get paid enough for that. Why would we put more responsibility on them.
Absolutely not. All this would do is create a culture of fear in schools and society
I would say only in the worst situations possible like there's a rapist in the school or a serial killer in school.

No, and tighten gun restrictions. This isn’t the U.S.
@8BXNXCH5yrs5Y
I feel like they should because if the person breaks into the school and gets to our classroom the teacher should have to bed ready to strike.

It depends because it could be good for self-defense but this could also increase the rate of accidental shootings.
@8LJD4FT4yrs4Y
No, more guns will not stop school shootings
@8P9CLBG4yrs4Y
Only conceal carry on their person. Only to be used in a shooting case.
@8PGP4Q74yrs4Y
I feel like this would increase the risk of an accidental shooting but at the same time we could have are teachers go through a professional training class
@8RY48W84yrs4Y
No, but improve access to school resource officers
@8VYQC3H4yrs4Y
They should be allowed only if they have had an extensive background check and they have classes where the weapon will not be taken and used against others.
