No, we should not encourage drug use but drug abuse should be seen as a health issue not a criminal one. People should not have to suffer because of past mistakes.

Yes. Because they are gonna use it anyways so why not be under supervision and it's okay. (I still don't support it though)

i think if you want to use meth and crack your asking for an overdose which is the users fault but i do think they should be put in rehab
@B4FFYKG2wks2W
Yes with parameters and safety considerations. Multiprong approach including rehabilitation to heavy penalties for major drug dealers

Yes, I believe that this could decrease overdosing. But I also think that places like these shouldn't encourage drug use, and should also be used as safe havens to sober up.
@9284J5J3yrs3Y
Yes, drug abuse should be treated as a health issue
@8WMH3RZ4yrs4Y
no because it would want to make people do it more and more not long befour the buildings would be full of the same people every day
@8VSFHPH4yrs4Y
if it is to help them get over their addiction the sure but if it is just feeding their addiction then no
@8V28JMZNew Democratic4yrs4Y
Yes, but sobriety should be encouraged, other activities should be available to reduce use, and amount given should be monitored.

No, I work with recovering addicts and they themselves admit “safe havens.” are just enabling them. Do the drug and get Naloxone good to go. Invest in interventions and trauma/emotional mental health support.
@99HZCMTNew Democratic2yrs2Y
yes but i also think it should focus more on rehabilitation. only no if it decreases spending on rehab programs and no if itll make addictions worse.
Yes, but as a rehabilitation center
@99FKQTMConservative2yrs2Y
Yes, but addicts should also be aided in stopping use of drugs.
@98848YR2yrs2Y
it would reduce drug overdose but it may encourage drug use
@96WZN6X2yrs2Y
I feel as though safe havens would be a bad idea for rehabilitation centers but i feel like at the same time they would be good for people who are very addicted to drugs and need a safe place to do it where its legal and if anything happens medical professionals will be there.
