Should postsecondary education be a provincial or federal responsibility?

France has an amazing education system for the youth. Moving towards that model. No private schools, so the rich are forced to donate money to the government to ensue there child has a good education. In the end all children benefit from this. Education is very important. All children are provided at lunch at school. Less stress for parents packing lunches, no food shaming -for those that are less fortunate. No child should go hungry. What’s the point of paying for a child to go to school and have an expensive education, if they can’t concentrate because they are hungry.

Provincial, but with federal support for students and research support, and with the possibilty of federal accreditation of specific universities.

Postsecondary education is formatted to profit the government more than the teachers. I think education should have standards monitored by government, however the curriculum should not be affected by the government.

Provincial so there would be more attention towards education at one place at a time, rather than the federal would have to worry for education in the whole country and some provinces won't receive as much attention than others.

Federal, to guarantee consistency countrywide and to support post-secondary institutions that need it, but not to regulate or interfere with the type of education being presented.

I believe the government should step in to reduce the cost of tuition in Post Secondary schools due to the climbing costs of tuition and student loans. I believe it should be a federal responsibility so every Canadian has a responsibility.
