Children being way too young to give birth, women who are not financially stable enough to have a child, women who are on drugs and will have a disabled child do to drug use, women and children who were raped and became pregnant, should all have the option to have an abortion.

 @9FF5T97from Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I think a woman has a right to abortion because what if she was raped or a victim of abuse if I was a victim and wanted an abortion I would want to be able to. And if the women got pregnant and felt like she wasn’t fit to be a mother or couldn’t afford it show be able without a problem should get an abortion

 @9FDNDS8Conservativefrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

If you physically or mentally cannot take care or have a child you should have as many options as possible.

 @9FCB7V6from Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

How is it correct that we place a higher punishment on the victim of assault than the person committing the crime? Why is a not-yet-complete life more important than one that is being lived? If it is such a big issue that this life is being aborted, place the barriers on the men who can procreate many, many more times in a given time period than the women.

 @9FBF63CLiberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

There is no valid argument opposing abortion. Abortion needs to always be accessible regardless of the reason or circumstance, and any reason for not wanting to continue the pregnancy is sufficient without argument. "Would you rather have safe, ethical, medically performed abortions, or ban them and end up with traumatized teens overdosing or cutting into their own uterus to try to abort the fetus on their own?"

 @9F8PHQVLiberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Rape victims and young girls are more negatively effected by giving birth than positively. Why should somebody else be in charge of your own body? If wanted, girls and women should be able to have abortions to their liking and it shouldn't be anyone's business, especially not a mans or a male politicians

 @9F8XBVDLiberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Pro choice is the fair one because every person should be able to control there life and if they were a rape victim the chill could be triggering or even not healthy and if it’s very unhealthy it could not only die but kill the mother

 @9F9HJRDfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

God gave us free will and it is very ignorant to take that away from women especially when most of decisions regarding women’s body are made by men.

 @9HP53Y6from Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

I believe that if the abortion is because of rape its fine but if you just had unprotective activities then they should keep it

 @9FDTJXXNew Democraticfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Life quality over life itself, some are not in the proper condition to raise a child, the kid will grow in a not ideal environment. it is terrible for society.

 @9FBZP3HNew Democraticfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

It’s quite obvious here. A rape victim no matter the age shouldn’t be responsible for something they weren’t given the choice of conceiving.

It’s a woman's and doctors choice only, and that’s that.

 @9FBTX3Tfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I would ask how somebody making a desicion to have an abortion affects the person saying this, and why do they care? How would you feel if you needed some sort of surgery, but you weren't aloud to?

 @9H6CZY4from Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

I think victims of rape should have the ability to have an abortion because it was not their fault and they don’t want to live with a child remembering how it happened.

 @9FHWZN6Liberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Policies that lean toward the pro-life stance take away the rights of women who genuinely need those services.

 @9FH4KHSfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Victims of rape is there choice to do what they do and pro-life is not dicidet by a man it dicidet by a woman

 @9FG5HKMfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

It is a violation of human rights to force a decision on someone. Also, given the current state of foster care if the mother can’t provide for the child it will not have a positive life. Finally, rape is a crime and victims should not be forced to bear the weight of it.

 @9FFP36Qfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

You best be prepared to support the mother and child for the next 18 years if you take away their choice.

 @9FDCCNNfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

children getting raped or single homless mothers who cant afford to give the baby a good life, everyone shoukd have the choice to choose what they do with their own body

 @9FDCBYCfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

it should be a womens choice no matter what she is the one who has to bare a child for 9 months and have to live with that so if she dosent want to or isnt ready then thats her choice.

 @9FCPXVYfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Some people have to suffer because of others' terrible, disgusting, criminal actions, and they have to at least be able to decide for themselves whether or not they wish to deal with the after math of the event.

 @9FCC6CVfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Everyone should have the choice of abortion without it Some one could end Up with a baby they Can't care about. people could end up with a baby they did not want or not ready for.

My body, my choice. There is no logical reason to ban or oppose abortions, for anyone, but most especially for victims of rape and incest. Abortions need to be performed by trained Medical Professionals and be safe and accessible regardless of the reason or circumstance. Without it, we see an increase in unsafe, unsupervised abortions that risk the life of not only the fetus but the mother as well. You can never convince me you are Pro-Life if the life of the mother doesn't matter to you. Pro-Life is just another way for people in power to exert control over women and their bodies. Healthcare is a Human right.

 @9FFM5Y5from Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

In cases of rape and incest, a woman should 100% have the right to choose whether she wants an abortion or not. It is important to realize that cases of rape and incest are very traumatic experiences, and forcing someone to go through with a pregnancy happening from such a situation can just add on to their suffering even more. You should consider the mental health of the survivor, and not just whether or not the child will live or not. Not letting a woman access to an abortion in situations like these can also lead to lead to legal problems, which may require victims to go through a long pro…  Read more

The trauma endured from victims of rape and incest deserve a choice on what they should do with their OWN bodies.

 @9FFC6GGfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

You haven’t experienced what they have, and having a product of trauma
in your body for nine months can be severely traumatic. If you’re pro life and want to give children a chance, promote more adoption and the education and healthcare of children, instead of controlling other peoples’ bodies. These fetuses aren’t even fully developed, and they don’t think or feel anything. It would be humane to let people get abortions.

 @9F7VL4Kfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

You don’t have to get an abortion if you don’t want, but you can’t tell someone else not to. It’s not your body, it’s not your choice.

 @9FFZJJSfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I think that abortion for everyone should be legal as it is your body and you get to decide what you do with it. No one else should be able to decide if you can get an abortion or not.

 @9F7SYL7New Democraticfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

i believe that pro life is not OK because you are giving the mother who is carrying their own child right to decide to abort her child or keep it.I feel no matte the person you yourself should have the right to make your own decision based on what is going on and how far/old you are.

 @9MKCM4B from Ontario  disagreed…11mos11MO

The argument that opposing abortion, especially in situations involving rape and incest, ignores the suffering and injustice endured by those who have survived these horrible crimes is a strong refutation of this viewpoint. It is inconsiderate to force victims of rape or incest to bear a pregnancy to term since it compromises their physical, mental, and emotional health. Refusing survivors' access to abortions perpetuates damage and undermines their basic rights to autonomy and bodily integrity.

 @9GM384TPeople’sfrom Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

The fact that life begins at conception is attested to in the entirety of the body of scientific evidence. The words fetus and embryo are Latin for little one, child, or offspring. Any other standards beyond conception used would justify genocide of people who are already born; whether it is through denial that there is life in the womb or justification on the grounds of "compassion" to prevent them suffering in poverty, neglect, illness, etc.

 @9F5WW7MLiberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Banning abortion causes more death and harm through unsafe abortions, children raised in neglect, and mothers dying through child birth and in losing autonomy and control over their own bodies and remainder of their lives as a result

 @9F5FC8Sfrom Ontario  disagreed…2yrs2Y

There is no valid or compelling argument opposing abortion. Abortion needs to always be accessible regardless of the reason or circumstance. Any reason for not wanting to continue the pregnancy is sufficient without argument. The uptick in unsafe illegal abortions concerns me less than the impact of children born into unstable situations on society as they grow older.
