It is important to realize that cases of rape and incest are very traumatic experiences, and forcing someone to go through with a pregnancy happening from such a situation can just add on to their suffering even more. You should consider the mental health of the survivor, and not just whether or not the child will live or not. Not letting a woman access to an abortion in situations like these can also lead to lead to legal problems, which may require victims to go through a long process just to prove their claims, which can result in them reliving the trauma. Situations like these can also force children into environments where they live as constant reminders to their mothers about the trauma they went through. Allowing rape and incest victims the ability to have an abortion respects the survivors and allows the need for a humane way of going about it when dealing with these kinds of situations.
