We Need more facilities but many seniors require subsidization... Gov. Only has a few beds that are subsidized inmost facilities, a d they are not Nxious to build Mor places... Why couldn't a small deduction be collected per cheque towards better places for future of seniors - you take taxes and take our money earned for cpp and oas, BUT there is still no place affordable to live independently that is reasonable, in size, quality, safety, affordability and availability as seniors on gov. More. The people who have the money to take advantage of it, in theory, should lower the burden on public health. Also it leave an option for people who are in dire need of surgery

If I were to see the government spend money anywhere it would be healthcare. The system is overwhelmed and people already are not getting the care they need. There also needs to be an increase in mental health care.
