More privatization but with STRICT checks and balances and mandatory 50/50 time split for physicians between private and public systems

Maybe a flat fee of a small amount that can help with funding but some people really struggle in this day and age to afford anything. Hard to answer

There should be privatization of some hospitals, but not all. I believe there should be that option for people who could afford it, although there still needs to be an option for those who can’t. The healthcare system is terrible!

There is a problem with wait times but privatizing health care should not be allowed completely it should be a human right

 @9HV8TJZfrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

Some privatization and more funding for training new doctors and nurses tied to increased class sizes

 @9FXFB4Wfrom Manitoba  answered…2yrs2Y

More, Healthcare should be controlled by the people working in healthcare but still be able to get the funding they need from the government. (financial support)

Mix between both. Private health care for those who can afford to take strain off socialized health care

 @96BHBSGfrom Manitoba  answered…3yrs3Y

More to give individual organizations the ability to better manage their needs, however, funded by the government as to maintain Canadians right to free healthcare services.

more - create a 2-tiered healthcare system so that people who can afford it can pay, thereby alleviating waitlist burden for those who cannot. This also funnels more money back into the system. Doctors would only be eligible to earn a percentage of their income from private practices (<50%), thereby ensuring that the best do not completely vacate public health systems

 @8VRFTQ6Greenfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

More, but encouraging those who can afford it to use the private system to ease the cost to the government.

 @8VMDR7Dfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

Healthcare should be kept at the federal level which would save a ton of money and also prevent discrepancies in care from province to province. The fact that someone in northwestern Ontario cannot get cancer treatments 2 hours away in Winnipeg is shameful.

 @8V88PR5from Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

System needs to modernized and policy harmonized inter provincially to allow private public partnerships work

The government should provide robust public health care, but also allow private providers to offer services

 @8T367HZfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

Make privatization an option for those who want it while still offering universal healthcare as is

 @8T2Z86Wfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

Both, there should be some more private facilities and more free health care

 @8S4WJ38Conservativefrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

More, But only for serious conditions and injuries. Smaller conditions and injuries should be subsidized to a lesser degree

 @8NZWYH6from Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

No privitized health care at all. All health care should be nationalized as this is a human right and should never be for profit.

 @8NR4WFBfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

More privatization for electives and more funding for public health care.

I agree that there should be social health care for those who cant pay for it, but for those who can pay like the rich and wealthy should have to pay

 @92BV8FLfrom Manitoba  answered…3yrs3Y

More, but only if there are separate and equal resources for public and private such that the wait times decrease for both and quality of care is the same.

 @9D5HV3Nfrom Manitoba  answered…2yrs2Y

Canadians should have the freedom to choose between a private healthcare insurer or to participate in the socialized healthcare system, and if the private option is chosen those Canadians should not have to pay into the socialized healthcare system.

 @9HR86B3from Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

Vulnerability being or exposure of victims being a key point in this becoming privatization orientation but get lost in translation or forgot

 @B4PNX6Sfrom Manitoba  answered…1 day1D

The current healthcare system has many problems, but I also do not support fully privatizing healthcare as it is something that should be a given, right
