Should there be more or less privatization of hospital and healthcare services?

I think we should n privatize more healthcare system because lots of Doctors are leaving Canada due less pay by the government

I feel that there should be government funding, but the option to have privatized healthcare as well.

There should be a balance between private and public healthcare. The health care system should give more autonomy to its doctors.

The government should make sure that Canadians use what ever form of healthcare they feel comfortable using. Make sure that we have a strong public healthcare system and also make sure that private options are available to those who want to use them.

The system needs an over haul and the gov't should investigate other types of healthcare offered throughout the world and determine what would Canadians benefit from...then allow the people to decide after providing information.

More into Life saving and less into personal alterations. Example, Epi pens should be covered but medical assisted transitioning should be a personal cost much like a plastic surgeries.

There should always be a a privatized sector in health care, privatized sector will bring out new tech, new medicine. However it should never replace general health care system there is a lot of people in US struggling between different types of health care system.

There are too many bosses and managers making big salaries to do very little. Start cutting from the top. Take the politicians completely out of health care.

The entire healthcare system needs severe reformation. My home town of Prince Rupert has started losing physicians at an alarming rate.

there should be privatization of somesort, but public healthcare should be the priority. Privatization for people who don't want loing wait times, and public for affordable healthcare.

I think a cool idea is to combine all medical institutions into one big company that would be a branch of government so the hospitals don’t have to pay tax lowering fees and tax burden. And then any company that over priced their medical services or drugs can be forced to lower prices or be outright confiscated then forcefully lower the price to lower fees then send out the company on the stock market so that something like that can’t happen to the company again. Just an idea I came up with.

If we lowered taxes by 50% and people got to keep their money, I would say privatize it. But if the government is going to continue to keep the high tax rates AND make us pay for healthcare out of pocket, then no.

There should be the choice to choose which you want but there should only a certain amount of places open and workers aloud to work there to protect hospitals and emergency rooms

It is not necessarily a 'more or less' situation. It is almost entirely driven by invested and special interests. How would ypu propose a conversation related to this without those interests applying the most money and thus the most strident opposition to this undertaking.

I think that we should create a private option to those who can pay for it, and make it easier for those who can’t in the public system.

I beleive that we should have more private options for when you need to take care of something that the current system can't keep up with.

Both systems should exist. There should be some private hospitals created beside government ones. Without losing the quality of the government ones.

We should adopt a hybrid private public system. Without reducing the public system we should allow private to supplement where their is demand.
