Should the government make cuts to public spending in order to reduce the national debt?
It depends on what they’re cutting. However, if it’s something that isn’t very important for the community, then it could by cut to reduce the national debt.

Should funding for local police departments be redirected to social and community based programs?
We shouldn’t fully defund the police but a lot of the funding could instead be put towards community based programs.

The government should spend enough on the military to be able to defend our country but not spend too much that we become powerful enough to attack others.
