Medical marijuana has been legal in Canada since 2001 to people who suffer from AIDS, epilepsy, cancer and other terminal illnesses. In 2014 doctors were given the ability to prescribe marijuana to any patient who they deemed required it. In 2016 the Liberal party announced they would be proposing legislation in 2017 to legalize the use of recreational marijuana for adults over the age of 18.

I have been on a waitlist for total knee replacement services for three years now. Prior to being on the waitlist I was managing my pain with SNAIDs, which caused severe side effects that significantly impacted my health in a negative way. I have been able to manage my pain and improve my mobility, flexibility, and stability for three years on medicinal marijuana. I think there should be more health care research on the use of and benefits of medicinal marijuana, prescriptions should be funded and not taxed. I would be in a wheel chare today without it, and with wait lists for surgery as long as they are, it has literally been a lifesaver for me.

No, it should not have been legalized for recreational use. I do support decriminalization of drug users, however drug dealers should be prosecuted to the furthest extent of the law.

I'm very medium about this
@96LZ6W7New Democratic2yrs2Y
Yes, but only if the adult passes a test detailing the effects and resorces for drug abuse. Those with criminal drug charges should go through a harder and longer process.

I don't really know. I am in School still.
