It is your body. Not anyone else's. It doesn't matter what anyone else thing or wants all that matters if what you do. This is a major step back for women rights. What about the men? Why aren't we taking away their rights? If we cared as much about guns as we do about abortion then maybe just maybe people might actually get to feel safe in this world.

Those seeking abortion will do so regardless if it is legal, therefore leading to unsafe measures. A woman's reproductive rights are untouchable.

I think it should absolutely be someone’s choice as to whether they would like to abort their own child. It should be up to them not the government

It’s not a debate. Everyone has bodily autonomy and that can’t be restricted by someone else’s opinions/morality.

A baby is, at one point, essentially a parasite and is not obligated the use of its host any more than people are required to donate organs - this is a choice.

Abortion is a personal family matter and is appropriate in some circumstances- and even if we disagree, we should allow people to make these decisions based on their own circumstances.

Accidents happen, people get taken advantage of. Why bring a child into this world if you can't provide a good life for it. Or if it ends up in foster care, which is abysmal.

It’s not pro-life, it’s anti choice. Abortion is healthcare and there are a variety of reasons/circumstances someone may seek an abortion.

You can still do with your body as you wish but you have no say in what someone else choses to do with their body.

Why is the life of the pregnant person not considered? How about the life of thec child who's forced to be born but is not wanted or able to have a good life?

Although abortion may not always align with someone's morals, and may not always be a good choice, it should not be restricted based on a select group of people's idea of what is right and wrong. Abortion can be life-saving, and there are various circumstances when it could be considered the right thing to do. Additionally, restricting it will only make abortions unsafer, as people find illegal alternatives that aren't regulated as heavily as legitimate abortion clinics are.

A woman should not be required to support a life using her own blood, energy, and resources if she does not fully consent to and want it. Forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy to term is torture and creates a society where women become second-class citizens with an inability to have a say over their own bodies on account of the GOVERNMENT's decree.

This should not be a debate. If there are those that choose not to have an abortion, they have that choice. It is not ethical to take that choice away from others

Pro life is selfish, you can have your own beliefs but never is it ok to force your beliefs on another person. It’s always been this way and it should never change. It’s a violation of woman’s rights to be pro life.

There are circumstances to abortion that make it a viable and only option for some. If someone is sexually assaulted and they conceive a child the expectation can’t be for them to have a child that will certainly not be loved. Same goes a for a child who does not meet a minimum standard of living.

It is a woman's choice to terminate a pregnancy or not, especially if their life is in danger. There are many factors that go into terminating a pregnancy, and most people do not want to, they simply have no other rational option. Infringing on that right can lead to a slippery slope that can prevent women who need abortions in life threatening situations as seen in the United States.

Those who have a uterus should have the right to decided what to do with their own bodies. If the pregnancy is harmful and could kill that person they should not be forced to have that child. I would not want to have a rapist’s baby.

It should be up to the person who has the pregnancy to decide what they wish to do. It is their body and their autonomy. There are health risks that could risk the carrier’s life, there are genetic issues, there are soo many different cases where it would be best not to carry on with the gestation. Birth control fails. Sexual assaults happen. It should be up to the woman.

There are many different reasons someone may want to terminate a pregnancy, I think it is ultimately up to the individual carrying the fetus to decide what is best for them. We live in a time where the medical risk for properly terminating a pregnancy is super low and every individual should have the freedom to choose what happens to their own body.

I don't care about the bible, women will continue to have abortions they just won't be safe. Banning abortions will result in more women being victims of domestic abuse and murder by their partners.

why should someone keep a human in there body possibly when they are threating there own life or it was rape.

Life begins when a baby can sustain themselves outside their mothers body (breathing & bodily functions).

Most of y’all eat meat, idk why you care about this thing that doesn’t breath, eat, drink, blink, have a heart beat and so many essential things to life, but not the billions of killed animals a year with all that I just mentioned and more.

There are people highly unfit or forced into becoming pregnant through things such as rape… a young woman undergoing such a traumatic event should have the choice on whether or not to proceed with the pregnancy due to the mental distress it may cause during and post.

pro life will cause overpopulation with children whos parents dont want them, causing more homeless, drug problems, criminals, overpopulating orphanages etc. people who want abortions likely made a mistake and should be allowed to fix it.

Criminalization of abortions is fatal, and hurts more fetus’ in the long run that have fatal fetal disorders. It’s necessary to women’s health as well as many pregnancies can kill women and many result from traumatizing events.

Bodily autonomy is a fundamental right. There is no legal precedent to force someone sacrifice their body to save the life of another. That's why organ donors are so important - we require them to agree while they're alive to donate their organs to help others when they're dead. Consenting to sex is not the same as consenting to parenthood. At the end of the day, abortion is a medical procedure that has nothing to do with you, unless you're getting one yourself.

Who are you to decide a “baby” who is just a collection of cells at that point has more value in life and more rights than the person carrying it and putting there life on the line

They care they show for their “lives” seems to ends at birth. When these children become another child raised in poverty it’s a burden on society they complain about.

my body my choice. It is not a real baby that can until a certain phase in pregnancy. There are so many situations where having a baby is dangerous. Have all fertile men get vasectomies if you want to prevent the need of abortions, at least those are reversable.

Women should have the freedom of making their own personal decisions.The government shouldn't get to make those types of decisions.

If I dropped a baby and an embryo on the floor, what would you rush to catch first? If you said the baby, then why should an embryo be classified as more important then the baby?

Women are the reason people are even created. we should be able to establish what we want to do with our bodies.
