Decrease, focus on reducing our national budget deficit, still give some humanitarian aid to warring countries and to help poorer nations.
@9V9R5P2Conservative6mos6MO
Canada should not only decrease the human aid spending on other countries, they should try to eliminate it fully because most of our foreign aid that is sent to other countries is not getting received or is being sold there. I was in Lebanon and I saw different foreign aid from all over the world being sold on the regular rather than helping people with it.
@9MW8Y2BConservative10mos10MO
satisfied with the current amount but it should be stopped if the country violates human rights audaciously.
@9FKMM2T2yrs2Y
It should not be increased anymore, keep it at the same level and allow inflation to decrease the impact.
@9FGJD5C2yrs2Y
increase for poor countries only
@9FBWHFZ2yrs2Y
increase, just to countries that suffered from unnecessary wars
@9VGGMWSConservative6mos6MO
Decrease. We need to look after and support our own citizens and reduce our national debt before helping other countries.
@964SF29Conservative3yrs3Y
increase but make sure money isn't going to corrupt leaders
@959HJZ63yrs3Y
We shouldn't stop this, but we should be careful about who we help out.
@956JQQ3Conservative3yrs3Y
Decrease, until we give all Canadians amenities like drinking water, power and shelter.
@93WL6VF3yrs3Y
Yes, but only when we can know for sure that funding will go to the resources that are vital to the countries that are being aided.
@937V9PJConservative3yrs3Y
Stop foreign aid spending and lower down income tax for middle class families.
@92SBLVXConservative3yrs3Y
The massive majority of aid given to countries in need is siphoned off by the corrupt government officials for their own wealth and not received by needy people so why give any aid?
@92M4953Conservative3yrs3Y
(Decreasing) i think its a combination of drastically reducing our national budget deficit and denying aid to countries that harbor or promote terrorism
@8ZW42TKConservative3yrs3Y
only to countries that have a low enough GNP
@8Y8W43Q3yrs3Y
Decrease it for wealthy countries and countries that support terrorism but increase it for countries in need of foreign aid slightly.
@8XWVGGDLibertarian3yrs3Y
Decrease, until we fix the majority of problems at home
@8WZQ4HTConservative3yrs3Y

Decrease and put the money into the military and have them go help people
@8VVHTQNConservative4yrs4Y
Certain things can and should be funded, nutrition, healthcare and first aid in 3rd world countries should be funded the rest of the money should be spent in Canada on Canadians to improve our daily lives in some manner
@8VTTB2L4yrs4Y
decrease and spend on the citizens at home who are in dire need...
@8VTJZCZ4yrs4Y
Countries not in close relations to us do not get any money for assistance from our country
@8VPMD3QConservative4yrs4Y
Reduce foreign aid and increase foreign investment. Like China does
@8VCLRBH4yrs4Y
@8V9VRQWConservative4yrs4Y
It really depends on how the country is holding up or if they are not being supported by other countries it s good to help, which makes Canada be on a good side
@8V6FCJJConservative4yrs4Y
Remain the same but redirect funds to individuals in needs, not to the governments.
@8V5CXDZ4yrs4Y
Should fund as much as is beneficial to Canada
@8V544GGConservative4yrs4Y
Stop sending money for foreign aid! FIX THE PROBLEMS IN CANADA! Reservations should have access to safe and clean water!!!
@8TX7JTCConservative4yrs4Y
Depends on what is the return on that aid... as we all know nothing is free, regardless of the human rights violations, or whatever...
@8K2545PConservative4yrs4Y
Decrease until COVID-19 and the economic fallout is brings is dealt with.
@8JMPSQP4yrs4Y
Decrease until the nation deficit is reduced but only give aid to countries that have no human rights violations
@9CMQ8RFConservative2yrs2Y
Offer aid to countries that avoid conflict and don’t promote terrorism.
@9C9C8PY2yrs2Y
Only decrease spending towards countries that harbor or promote terrorism
@9BJVC58Conservative2yrs2Y
Let's take care of Canadians first, housing, health, and environment. First Nation communities should now be without drinking water in this day and age. Millions gets spent on foreign aid at the blink of an eye. Big difference when highlighting politicians promisses at election time.
@99PJ65KConservative2yrs2Y
Decrease for Western Countries and European Countries and increase for Middle Eastern Countries
@99GH2RJConservative2yrs2Y
Satisfied with current foreign aid but should not give aid to any country with human rights violations

@98F2B4YConservative2yrs2Y
Decrease, We need to improve the quality of life of our citizens first
@982YYJN2yrs2Y
Drastically decrease. That's the only news I see is JT giving away more money to other countries
@97T4JZCConservative2yrs2Y
Decrease, and deny aid to countries that harbour or promote terrorism, or infringe on human rights, and to reduce our national budget deficit
@97CNCYLConservative2yrs2Y
Increase foreign aid spending so it can be utilized as a means of political bargaining and international diplomacy.
@8VXX3H6Conservative4yrs4Y
We should decrease foreign aid spending, and use the money to invest in national defence, military funding, and policing.
@8V92GSWConservative4yrs4Y
really depends on how a country is holding up or deeply struggling.
@8TWDTHBConservative4yrs4Y
Decrease, decrease and we should focus our aid on select countries like Taiwan, Haiti, Colombia, the Commonwealth and Francophonie. Canada should partner it's aid efforts with that of New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
@8RG5XK24yrs4Y
Maintain current spending, but deny aid to countries commiting human rights violations or promoting terrorism.
@8PBR2YLConservative4yrs4Y
They should look for more long term fixes so that the spending can slowly decrease over time, and eventually e country can take care of itself if
@9C4DZBC2yrs2Y
we should start caring more about our own country than help others later. Prioritise us 1st others 2nd.
