The businesses around the world need to be able to adapt to the new way that things have to work in order for us to reduce the environmental impact of our society. If we don't then our planet will be too hot for us and everything else living on it.
@9FBD8732yrs2Y
Yes, the government should increase environmental regulations to at least reduce the amount of carbon emissions.
@9FB5BL82yrs2Y

Some examples include the fast food chain businesses. We can see the change from plastic straws to paper straws, but we also see Dollerama, where they sell plastic straws. The supposeover-regulationon obusinessesses is not working.
Over-regulation is definitely a problem, but I would make an exception for enironmental regulation becaause of its significance.
@B3BK5QX1mo1MO
Someone has to take the lead. If countries continue to drop out of the Paris Agreement, and citizens fail to hold their elected leaders accountable, no one will cut emissions effectively over the coming decades.
@9GJ6L9C1yr1Y
Change cannot be done on a grand scale without working together. Government happens to be one of the best avenues to facilitate that change for a society.
@9F9SSQQ2yrs2Y
you cannot just do whatever because your actions have consequences, and others are then left with a mess to clean up that they didn't make. you need to take responsibility for your company by following the rules to support the environment as much as is needed.
@9FKT43X2yrs2Y
If we keep up the acts to protect the environment then maybe our future generations would be safer and healthier.
@9FJ5RYHConservative2yrs2Y
Yes, the government should increase environmental regulations to reduce the amount of carbon emissions.
@9FHCT3Z2yrs2Y
The government should increase environmental restrictions and increase taxes for multinational business.
@9FF3JDK2yrs2Y
Business is totally under-regulated. Why should huge corporations and individuals have billions of dollars and resources while there are people actively starving in the street?
Business will be either the saviour, or downfall of every country in the world. It is the only thing with enough sway to push change and quite literally pay politicians to care, but also houses immense inequity, nepotism and greed.
That isn’t to say that all business should be treated as equal. Much like how our tax brackets should be, there should be a system of allocating regulations by income/size of the busin… Read more

yes the more carbon that is emitted into the atmosphere the worse global warming will become therefore your children’s children will not have enough clean air to breath they will breath in polluted air and have a higher chance of death.
Yes, the government should increase environmental regulations to reduce the amount of carbon emissions.
@9FC93MG2yrs2Y
Instead of regulating the government should place a law in order help the environment instead of using resources to regulate businesses
@9FBHV8C2yrs2Y
This is more of an American issue, but companies going ham; dumping chemicals into rivers and such is still a thing.
@9FC3MHW2yrs2Y
That thats delusional: companies cannot be trusted to act in the collective intetest, and in this case its important
@9F9YSD22yrs2Y
Since the planet is undergoing environmental destruction and global warming is more of a threat than ever before, businesses should want to regulate their carbon emissions in order to give new generations and consumer’s future generations a clean future and to keep the planet clean for years to come
@9GKKVFD1yr1Y
There is none. If companies and business can put their factory in a spot and pay way less, they’ll do it. Look at how phones and shoes are made
