That’s really all this is about. People shouldn’t lose jobs, get denied housing, or face harassment just because they don’t fit into someone else’s idea of gender. Adding gender identity to anti-discrimination laws doesn’t give anyone extra rights; it just means everyone gets the same basic protection. It’s about fairness, not politics.
