Foetuses are not independent human lives until they are birthed

Their survival is linked to the body carrying them and that body should thus always be able to make decisions about pregnancy and abortion autonomously in view of their desires and circumstances. Also, shockingly a lot of pro-life folks I have met also seem keen on cutting support for babies and children once they are out in the world
