Yes, however, to be granted dual-citizenship you should be required to pass an exam, already posses a valid visa, and be living in Canada for a certain period of time before granting dual-citizenship. A dual-citizenship may also be taken away in the event of a felony (small infractions such as traffic incidents don’t count).
