Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?

Not only should most restrictions be removed, the government should pass a "stand your ground" law, remove restrictions on firearms able to be owned by civilians, and make it a Charter of Rights violation for any government body to remove the people's arms at any time for any non crime related reason.
