It is healthcare. It is not forced upon you. It is not murder. If a woman doesn’t have the finances or mental stability to bring a baby into this world, and they do not want the baby, then they should be allowed to get rid of it. If the woman was forced to give birth and raise a baby that she doesn’t want, then imagine what might happen to both of them in that situation. The mother will probably never have time to take care of herself, her whole life is uprooted, she’ll have to drain herself trying to pay for this child. What if she starts resenting the child? Will the child grow up and have severe trauma that impacts their daily life? What if they ended up in an orphanage, what if they were never adopted, what if they were fostered in a different home regularly, what if they were assaulted and abused in the foster homes? All of this, all of this, just think about the implications. Is it really pro-life if this is what waits for the mother and child? Is it pro-life to have someone that was raped bring a child into the world that will serve as a constant reminder to that event? What if, they can just get rid of the baby. No unwanted child is born, who will not have to deal with this cruel society. The woman can live her life freely, and follow her own path. If you’re pro-life, then don’t get an abortion. Simple as that. Keep it legal, keep it safe, stop controlling women and seriously think about the risks that will follow when abortions aren’t available.
