There should be a stand your ground law in your own home but not necessarily in public

Those convicted of crimes, the mentally ill and those who have shown they are not responsible with their firearms should lose their right to gun ownership. Assault weapons should only be obtainable if it is reasonably believed that Canada may be invaded by another nation.
