Should immigrants be deported if they commit a serious crime?

If they have entered the country illegally and it is safe for them to go back to their country, then yes

But if it is unsafe for them to be brought back, then they should serve a sentence and go through a process of rehab. If they prove themselves to have been rehabilitated, then they should be let off with a warning, and if they continue to commit serious crimes, then yes, they should be sent back.
