I believe they aren't wrong, there are many ways as a society that we can turn to to help the environment but as of now there is not much big change so one person when it comes to the environment I believe can't really make that much of a change.

I would encourage them to act anyway, for the chance that they may be an example to follow.

I would agree with them and promote the idea that it is too little too late for us to change much with individual lifestyle changes. Instead, devote your time and energy to advocating against the biggest contributors to environmental catastrophe by far: corporations, the top 1%, and the politicians who enable them.

We live in a huge society and all these small actions can contribute eventually to a bigger cause. Protecting the environment is like building a giant sandcastle with lot of little grains of sand.

Ecologism is evident in China with their "one-child policy". Lowering the chances of human life to save the environment is not only a stupid idea, but a communist one.

By taking responsibility for our own environmental impact and inspiring others to do the same, we can collectively work toward a healthier, more sustainable planet.
