I define family as the people you consider to be closest to you

There should not be a standardized and enforced meaning of what family should be. There must be individual liberties when distinguishing family values. Family is an important concept that should not have "the importance of tradition"

Capital punishment or the death penalty is a legal process whereby a person is put to death as a punishment for a crime. Canada abolished capital punishment in 1976.

Yes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy
