no, the idea that what i'm seeing right now won't be seen by my kids is terrible. i don't want my kids to have to ask what a certain flower smells like, or what a tiger is, or how tall trees could grow.

 @9KDMSH3from Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

Experiencing nature and the diverse origins of our world is very important, and it's important to keep hold of our roots as animals on this earth.

 @9KD9VFVfrom Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

For the children to have to grow up in the ruins of a planet that we created is a terrifying thought. They should know how natures flourished and nurtures, overall its beauty.

 @9JXP9PRfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

No, I would try to preserve the beauty and make the world itself a better Place.

 @9JYWQ8Kfrom Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

It would be unfortunate if the world would become damaged by people to a degree of no return and being myself I would try to solve as many problems as I can muster

designated invirmental save zone's and replanting trees should be made but industry is important so designated zones for industry should also be designated. find a massive ugly hole and fill it all the countries waste then cover it up that way to trash.

 @9K65Y6Tfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I would like my children to see the natural beauty of this world so I would atleast suggest that the government puts money into cleaning the earth and planting trees a bit.

 @9K5QBS9 from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

no. we need to switch to more renewable energy sources like wind, hydro and nuclear energy for the preservation of our ever-scarred world.

 @9JZSGZCfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

My children will not die of old age. We are not willing to do what is required to change the future for our planet. It’s time for a rebirth.

It horrifies and saddens me that we would sacrifice it for the privilege of an elite few to profit. We must take action to prevent it. Our natural beauty is a gift that should not be defiled if we can help it.

I hate that the government is cutting down trees but luckily here in Canada we have many protected lands for grass trees and plants

 @9K5QKX8from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

i think the enviroment is not in the shape that others put it to be for exaple the old groth forest, it is old forest that is going to die anyway and we should put that resource to work, they also replant the forests that get cut down.

 @9K544ZPfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Absolutely not. I won’t ever have children, but the idea that the world I know won’t be around for the next generation is horrible to think about.

 @9JZVYL6New Democratic from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

No, I do not want future generations to experience a world devoid of what makes that world so special. I also do not want them to have to experience corporatocracy or the consequences that come with extreme industrialization.

 @9JZ9VKCfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I feel like the future generations should be able to see the nature because its pretty and reduces stress.

no because I want my children to be able to see the beauty of nature in this world

 @9JWNH3Kfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

No not at all. The fact that some people are okay with this is crazy. It's so sad that some people may not be able to see the beauty that we see.

I would not be at ease with seeing my children not have the same environmental privileges as me.

 @9JV9XVYConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

It most likely will not be around anyway. The majority of people are too selfish to give up meat/vehicles (when theres accessible transit) or even have slightly higher taxes for the better of our community. It also doesn’t help when our Prime Minister doesn’t actually do anything that was promised and no one holds him accountable.

 @9JST58XConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I’m not gonna have kids but don’t **** with the environment cuz that’s what keeps us alive, also I like the 5 trees in my neighborhood thanks

 @9JRWNKZfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I would not be at ease because were not the only ones on this earth. The fauna also deserve homes. I do support more housing but don't keep ruining forests

 @9LM79HXfrom British Columbia  answered…12mos12MO

Of course, there will be some of it, but the environment is not as bad as people think. It is an issue though and we need to begin switching to nuclear, instead of the "Carbon Tax" that is killing Canada.

 @9LLHSV7from British Columbia  answered…12mos12MO

The earth has been here for billions of years and will be here long after humans are gone. A massive country like Canada, with 40 million people, will not be able to fix and repair the environment, while countries with 1.4 billion people, like India and China, have zero regard for polluting the planet. Do you think Trudeau's Carbon Tax is going to fix anything? It is not. All he is doing is causing the people of Canada hardships with their hard-earned money.

 @9LKHRJCPeople’sfrom British Columbia  answered…12mos12MO

we should focus on saving on our planet because it's dying and we live off of everything on this planet, from the animals, the earth, the water. the planet should be our main priority.

 @9K5RHCFfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

no. we should do more for the environment but it is extremely dumb to use the same measures we are using right now because we are barely making an impact. we need to come up with more efficient and easily maintained energy sources. we also need to either make everything biodegradable or just learn to recycle. it annoys me to go get a drink and have to use a paper straw that frickin disintegrates while the entire cup is plastic. we also need to find more ways to dispose of waste and clean up the ocean.

 @9K4JWRJfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

most likely not as most would want their children to have a good environment

I would be very upset. The environment is what runs our world and it needs to be taken care of. I don’t want my kids to grow up in a world of technology, yes the growth of economy and technology can creat many new opportunities for society but the simple things like being outside and enjoying the environment are important in life

I am against having our beautiful nature destroyed, however, we need more industrialization to keep up with how much we import, by creating more factories in our on country we increase the amount of jobs and decrease the pollution of bring resources here. there is a healthy balance between these two and by building a better economy we can spend more on making greener power and lifestyles.

my children are not going to be sitting at home the whole day on some high tech stuff, they must have regulars breaks to go outside and experience nature as sweet and gentle as it is to the body, exercising is going to be one of our families daily routine.

 @9K4LXDXConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

no i am not ease because I want my children to have nature around and play outside and feel nature around instead of being inside and on screens all day.

 @9JZ8DZ4from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Absolutely not. I don’t have any kids, but I still care deeply about the natural beauty of our planet. It’s shocking how we, as a species, are destroying the only home we have. It’s like we are a plague that spreads and consumes everything in our path. I’m sure the planet will outlast us, but will we have any nature left to appreciate?

 @9LJGNWTPeople’s from British Columbia  answered…12mos12MO

This is a loaded question that reeks of an agenda. I greatly value the beauty that makes up an enormous and wondrous part of Canada and hate to see its destruction. But, I also detest the thought of elitists thinking that they know what is best for the masses, who fund bogus "scientific" studies to drive their agendas, who control privately run lending operations to corrupt governments and who are the worst sort of criminals on the planet.

No I would not be at ease. The natural beauty that I got to see as a kid was just such a joy for me to experience, I couldn't even fathom the thought of my children not growing up with that same beauty. So I would defiantly not be at ease in any shape or form with that notion at all.

 @9K64MQMLiberalfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

i think that there needs to be more change towards the environment and more improvement in trying to make this country more environment friendly. it would be heartbreaking to have to tell my kid that the reason they don't get to experience certain things is that people didn't take this issue more seriously.

 @9K4M34Nfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y
