Learn to spell u potato. You are clearly stupid and do not deserve to have a computer. I am so disappointed in the human race for letting you type this ridiculous response. Grow up and learn to spell.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. My rights are my rights. You can have your religion respectively until it infringes upon my rights, when it gets to that point, the rights of your religion stop.

 @9HJM38Tfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, only private matters between its members, as well as being allowed to advertise itself.

i think it is still important to have catholic views for our country because i think they have a good value of life.

 @9JVLPGVfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No. Those who follow their religion should be allowed to continue their practices, but they should not have a greater say in laws that will effect those who follow other religions.

 @9JKTX64from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9K4HVNGfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, because they should have no right to make laws based on their beliefs and shove it down non-Catholic throats.

 @9JXPTTBLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, they believe in something that has been disproven so they shouldn’t have a say in something that actually exists.

 @9JWS8VNfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, not really. Law and religion in countries where religion is a free choice should be completely separate

 @9JWL386Liberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, they shouldn't. They're biased because of what the bible says, and most would not allow gay marriages or abortions, which is wrong because that shouldn't be their choice and one religion shouldn't have a say in the government. It should be all or none.

 @9JKTYZJfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but in a controlled matter that reflects the right views of the church

 @9JJWHCKfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

no religion and government should be separate people should be able to be married outside of a church and educated non religiously

 @9JGJXCPfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No. Other religions shouldn't either. Especially in Canada where many religions coexist, how can we let one religion decide with their moral base for everyone else. Church and Government should never overlap.

Religion and law do not connect directly. There shouldn't be rules about marriage but Catholic Education can help teach people of the values of the church. These values should not include discrimination.

 @9JWKZHHfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Next to no say. We are not a particularly religious country, we shouldn't force their ideals on everyone

 @9JWKTBHfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Religions should not have a say on political matter especially about sexuality because not everybody is catholic so why base your rules off of it

 @9J9PHBQfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Not within a secular nation like Canada. That is a private choice to support for yourself. Not force on others

 @9JWYKLBfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JWG8GXfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No they should not, We are no only ruled by religion that is in the past we now have democracy. religion is a choice and should not be forced into our governments. It will not make us more of a free country.

 @9JW4XH9from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that Catholic church practices are out of date and irreverent, but that does not mean all religions should be vetoed, everyone is able to practice what they like and we should not be unspoken, for believing in something we find significance to. Religion isn't wronging you, it's how others interpret religion and how others twist the truth instead of acknowledging it.

 @9JKDKZ8Conservative from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Nope. Religion should have no role in government. The Catholic Church has also shown poor judgement several times throughout history. Especially in Canada.

 @9HPLXN8from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, respectfully that is ridiculous. If we were to theoretically allow Catholicism we would have to allow all religions, or at least all major ones. Religions are complex and are bound to have different policies than other religions, with that in mind it eliminates the possibility of any religion. Furthermore keeping it the same for everyone gives people a base level to grow their complex religions off of. When everyone feels a unification on a base level it is significantly easier to create equal laws and things along those lines.
