It's important to note, though, that drug safety and associated dangers differ greatly amongst compounds. "Just because they killed a lot of people doesn't mean you will die" is a dangerous misconception that downplays the risks of drug use. Recognizing that harm reduction techniques along with responsible drug usage can reduce certain hazards is a more balanced approach. It's critical to keep in mind that each person responds to medications differently, and side effects might still happen despite extensive research.
