Marriage is a expression of love between two willing people

Obviously, there are biblical ties, but the thought of marriage as a strictly religious expression is archaic. Marriage for people now is an expression of love, or to be one under the government's eyes. This argument is incredibly arrogant and moot, as marriages are regularly held outside of churches, between people of a generation where in most cases were raised a certain religion, that have not practiced said religion in years.
