Not in principle, but they can be of real help to children who are gifted, and want to pursue programs that the public school system doesn't offer, as well as for some people to have a religious-focused education. However, they should pay staff well and staff should be allowed to unionize, and parents should have a choice, but we should continue to invest in pragmatic solutions for public schools.
