You can prevent discrimination altogether and lower the chances of acts of discrimination by providing mandatory diversity training. It would also potentially filter out intentionally malicious people from this training as those who intend to cause harm and discrimination will quit if they think their company is not aligning with their own personal (but bad) beliefs.
