Yes, or No, if we get an unbiased individual/group (likely someone foreign to Canada, along with a learned private citizen and a government official) to investigate the leading cause of the national debt, along with who’s a bigger influence - private citizens or government bureaucracies/policies.

Increase tax on wealthy, government officials, multinational corporations, end tax evasion, reduce benefits and salary of government officials and impose a heavy tax on government officials who choose to spend tax money on things that don't benefit the country as a whole (ie snap election)

No, stop spending the country's money on seemingly random things that may or may not help the country instead

 @8FRYPJBfrom Saskatchewan  answered…5yrs5Y

Depends where the money is cut from. Also cut some useless government positions and cut tax on wealthy

 @98ZH37Gfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

They need to reduce spending in all aspects, not just the public spending, they need to cut back on the national spending if it is causing the most dept.

 @8ZLQG4Zfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

It depends on what they’re cutting. However, if it’s something that isn’t very important for the community, then it could by cut to reduce the national debt.
