Should Canada provide military supplies and funding to Ukraine?
On February 24 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. The invasion caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II, with around 7.1 million Ukrainians fleeing the country and a third of the population displaced. It has also caused global food shortages.

NATO provoked the war with Russian, so at this point we are obligated, but we never should have allowed NATO to provoke this war. Blood is on every NATO country’s hands
@B3HV94Q1mo1MO
Yes, only if they promise to pay back the funding after their war in installments like the United States did in the past like World War 1 and 2.

We Should use it as a way to justify buying new equipment for Canada by transferring old equipment to Ukraine
@B2BM93X3mos3MO
Not right now, as of very recently no, if we had money and were better off, sure. However, the states can handle that right now.

Humanitarian aid, and training. We have no obligation to fund this country while Canadians are suffering at home.
@9VPGMP86mos6MO
Yes, as long as the military supplies is leftover equipment and it doesn't affect the CAF's military stockpile
@9R2QTDQ9mos9MO
Yes, but we have to focus on our people first and if we can save resources and send it their way we will have happy people and happy international relations. It's a win-win

I think we should provide humanitarian and economic aid, but less military aid. Additionally, decrease overall spending but don't cut it out entirely
I think that we should send what support we can without draining our own resources and at the expense of our own citizens
@9F9X6D4New Democratic2yrs2Y
Yes but only if the country is willing to full commit to the conflict
@9DSJG322yrs2Y
Yes as long as we can replace those supplies
@9JWMJCZ 1yr1Y
We'll send medical aid and food supplies to Ukraine if needed (humanitarian aid). By legal rights we will help out a country in need, just as we helped out the USA when they needed backup. By lawful creed of the knight order.

Provide current Canadian Forces equipment to the Ukrainian military and replace depleted stocks with new, modern equipment
@9CBKZDD2yrs2Y
Yes, but only defensive weapons and we need to balance sending resources with our own stock
@9B495WX2yrs2Y
Yes, but there should be a proper budget for it.
@9CFWYG82yrs2Y
No, we should be sending equipment to Russia instead.
@95J6CZT3yrs3Y
Survival and medical supplies only, not military aid.
@95CBBBT3yrs3Y
We should put our country first in our spending, not other countries when parts of ours are in desperate need of it.
@98PZ29GConservative2yrs2Y
we should slack back and focus on out own country first.
@98HLJHB2yrs2Y
Yes, but also push for a Win-Win negotiated peace
@97T4JZCConservative2yrs2Y
Normally, yes, for humanitarian aid and some military supplies, but we can't afford it right now. And as long as we don't send our troops
@95D5GLS3yrs3Y
I don’t really care it doesn’t really affect me so sure I guess might aswell help
@95CZ6XV3yrs3Y
Yes but if that so they should do it even to other countries that are in war.
