we as Muslims believe that the soul enters the body at the beginning of the second trimester

so we believe from that point onwards they would have the exact same rights as we have outside of the womb. But many scholars say there is an exception to having an abortion like if the mother would have a life-threatening condition where an abortion would be necessary.
