Should the government increase or decrease foreign aid spending?

I believe we have a moral duty both at home and beyond our borders to help to alleviate pain and suffering

I believe it would be very anti Canadian to not do so. I am not versed in the amounts spent on this, and would hope that their are people in power that make these decisions with empathy and love.
