Should the government forgive up to $20,000 of student loan debt?

No, but significantly reduce the interest rate and increase the grace period of student loans

If the government forgives student loans, they should also give those that were responsible enough to either pay them off, or work during their post-secondary education to pay for their studies $20,000 as well. This is not fair to those that were responsible during their early adult years.
