The end goal should be to eventually get all forms of public transportation to run on electric power over time. But the usage of fossil fuels from automobiles should not receive increased taxes.

it would need to have a diesel electric hybrid so that they dont need to charge or mine lithium the diesel engine would be purely for a generator
