In the example of Mississauga’s MiWay, the buses are hybrid electric and diesel. That is a good solution.

I don't really care about this, I just want a bus to get home with. It will be way too costly if all the public transit vehicles are remodelled, rebuilt and the old ones are simply trashed.

No, it'll just increase pressure on electronic grid. It's a zero sum solution.

At the moment I feel there needs to be a hybrid system. 60% electric 40% fossil fuels. Until we have come up with a better plan for full electric conversion
