They should build more affordable housing. Not just for homeless people but majority of young people struggle to live in houses

 @9LBHFY7from Saskatchewan  answered…1yr1Y

yes, but please do it smart, build them in communities with high homelessness rates to support the populations and prevent further damage to green space and agriculture land

I feel we need to examine alternative courses of action before we go this route. Extra taxes on residences that are not your primary residence, tax on foreign ownership, short term rental legislation put in place, etc

 @9H9B77Jfrom Saskatchewan  answered…1yr1Y

yes, to help the homless and yes, not on farmland and green space but I dont think that the government can afford building all these houses becuase of how in debt we already are.

 @9JSKFJCfrom Saskatchewan  answered…1yr1Y

Not for those who already have enough living space/money, and only after all houses not in circulation are reconstructed for purchasing.

 @9D74ZNSfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

Rebuild and repair houses that are in current citys already then if we nred more than start building new ones

 @95SHK28Conservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

building houses might help but building them won't help any if the people they are meant for can't afford them also I don't want to take away farmland and if possible reduce the cost of some houses to make it more affordable

 @8Z6P9KQfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but we should TRY to keep farmland and green space. We should see if any contractors/corporations would be willing to rebuild/repair existing houses (maybe at cost), or if people would volunteer their efforts/manpower towards this endeavour as well, in their local communities.

 @8WYJN2Wfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

No, we can not afford this right now and just rebuild older houses it will cost less and lead to a better outcome of our planet.

 @8VRZPJVNew Democraticfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if foreign and corporate ownership is prevented during those 4 years

 @8VQ5XMDfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

yes as long as they are ethically and sustainably sourced materials to build said houses

 @8VPWW9Pfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if a housing crisis is caused by lack of availability, and not by an surplus of overpriced houses.

 @8VNWVPXConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

Depends on how much money the government has and how high it is on the priority list

 @8VNM5CTfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VMYJCMfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, at affordable prices for the lower to middle-class income families.

 @8VMV635from Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

No, building homes should be left to private business's to keep the money in the community.

 @8VMRNB6from Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VMPLDCfrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

They should, but more realistic number of homes that amount to less, around 500,000 should suffice.

Yes, But for those who are low income, homeless and it isn't at the expense of farmland and green space. As well as rebuilding/repairing existing houses.
