Yes, but I only think for extremely horrific crimes with undeniable evidence, and with much more law and political opinion

The death penalty should be something not taken lightly and only something to surpass a full life sentence with no parole (which is some times the best case scenario, rotting in prison is better than escaping with death in most cases.)
