Raising a child is hard enough without putting the child through so much adversity, some gay couples may manage very well, others will fail like traditional couples. To be fair to the child there would need to be a large amount of ongoing support offered until the child is ready to leave home. This would be expensive but might be a worthwhile investment as many gay couples are kind and loving.
