In 2016 the International Olympic committee ruled that transgender athletes can compete in the Olympics without undergoing sex reassignment surgery. In 2018 the International Association of Athletics Federations, track’s governing body, ruled that women who have more than 5 nano-mols per liter of testosterone in their blood—like South African sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya—must either compete against men, or take medication to reduce their natural testosterone levels. Yes, but only in a separate category for transgender athletes
@8H6JLM35yrs5Y
Yes, but against other trans athletes competing at the same level to prevent any unfair advantages that cis or trans athletes could have.
I think these decisions should be researched by medical professionals to assess the fairest competition for all
@8SVBCXB4yrs4Y
The issue should be left up to the sports clubs running the events and shouldn't be a political issue.
@8RG6SG34yrs4Y
I feel it depends on what sport a trangender is participating in.
@8QZTFS34yrs4Y
I dont realy care but, the reason why male and females dont compete agains one an other is because men are stonger
@8Q6C9V8New Democratic4yrs4Y
Transgender athletes should be able to compete with cis-males.
@8VLHXVD4yrs4Y

Yes, if they are over the age of 18 and their hormone levels are equivalent to those in the gender category in which they compete. Individuals under the age of 18 should compete based on the biological sex that is listed on their birth certificate
@8QS5J3J4yrs4Y
Athletic events should be separated by weight class that is independent of gender.
@8PSZWPL4yrs4Y
Yes, Sports shouldn’t be categorized by sex
@8Y5H9DW3yrs3Y
Yes, athletic competition is unfair by nature as it is naturally fuelled not only by training (controllable) but also by biology (uncontrollable). Extremes are present even within the sexes. Athletics should be separated not by gender or sex, but by skill.

No, cisnormative gendered leagues should be abolished, there should be a general & cis-woman league then anyone can make their own with whatever regulations.
@8QDSNZY4yrs4Y
Yes, as long as they pass the same tests that sis gendered people must pass
@2GB8K924yrs4Y
Yes, and end sexual segregation of sports (ie don't have men's leagues and women's leagues, have one league inclusive of all genders)
@VikkiRoxxOk3yrs3Y
Start their own transgender competitions and leagues.
@7979QY94yrs4Y
Yes, I can only speak to MtF HRT, but going on HRT decreases muscle mass and bone density, thus effectively removing any actual differences. Honestly, I think gender classification should probably just be removed and replaced with just having sports be based on weight classification.
@7PTCG383yrs3Y
No, a separate category should be created in which transgender athletes compete against other transgender athletes of their current sex
