Should transgender athletes be allowed to compete against athletes that differ from their assigned sex at birth?

In 2016 the International Olympic committee ruled that transgender athletes can compete in the Olympics without undergoing sex reassignment surgery. Yes, I personally do not care. I think there's an unfair biological advantage between the two genders but if people want it it wouldn't really matter. Different leagues can be created and different forms of competition between all genders and between separate genders whatever the market dictates. And the market is regulated by where individuals spend their money.
