In 2018 the International Association of Athletics Federations, track’s governing body, ruled that women who have more than 5 nano-mols per liter of testosterone in their blood—like South African sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya—must either compete against men, or take medication to reduce their natural testosterone levels. The IAAF stated that women in the five-plus category have a “difference of sexual…

This is a difficult question, but I feel that in extreme cases, an athlete has the opportunity to fake being transgender only to have an upper hand in opposing sport events. I lean towards no.
A new class division should be opened for trans women and trans men
@Hannahgood4yrs4Y
They should make a new category
@8H6JLM35yrs5Y
Yes, but against other trans athletes competing at the same level to prevent any unfair advantages that cis or trans athletes could have.
@8GZ4XM95yrs5Y
Remove genders from sports.
I think these decisions should be researched by medical professionals to assess the fairest competition for all
I do not care, if someone wants to play sports, let them play. if the loss of a soccer game ruins your life to the point you wont except someone for who they are then thats your own problem.
@8TJ5M7B4yrs4Y
Trans-man (woman to man) should be allowed to compete, but trans-women should depend based on hormone levels because men have higher levels of hormones and different chemicals that make them stronger.
@8VRQ3BYNew Democratic4yrs4Y
Yes, based on analysis of physical risk to the competing team/person.
@8VJB7834yrs4Y
They compete in their own category.
@8TYBYFQ4yrs4Y
Yes, but athletic events should be reinvented to be more inclusive while still being fair
@8RG6SG34yrs4Y
I feel it depends on what sport a trangender is participating in.
@8R7WCQ54yrs4Y
Create a transgender female/male groups
@8QZTFS34yrs4Y
I dont realy care but, the reason why male and females dont compete agains one an other is because men are stonger
@8KL8NGV4yrs4Y
Trans men yes trans women no if they went through male puberty. Trans women have an unfair advantage if they went through male puberty.
@8WFX23P4yrs4Y
She/he should be allowed to compete against which ever gender they would like to compete against.

@95J9PCR3yrs3Y
Yes, and gender categories in athletics should be eliminated wherever possible.

@9395BMW3yrs3Y

@8VSHYWL4yrs4Y

@8VP6P4Q4yrs4Y

@8VLLY7S4yrs4Y
Transgender athletes should be allowed to compete in transgender sports.
@8VLG64N4yrs4Y
Add a transgender unique to its own
@8VLHXVD4yrs4Y
Matter the situation. Still very iffy with everything and new research
@8S2LJ244yrs4Y
Transgender athletes should have their own trans category.
@7979QY94yrs4Y
Yes, I can only speak to MtF HRT, but going on HRT decreases muscle mass and bone density, thus effectively removing any actual differences. Honestly, I think gender classification should probably just be removed and replaced with just having sports be based on weight classification.
@8QFWL9B4yrs4Y
No, cisnormative gendered leagues should be abolished, there should be a general & cis-woman league then anyone can make their own with whatever regulations.
@8Y5H9DW3yrs3Y
Yes, athletic competition is unfair by nature as it is naturally fuelled not only by training (controllable) but also by biology (uncontrollable). Extremes are present even within the sexes. Athletics should be separated not by gender or sex, but by skill.
@8QDSNZY4yrs4Y
Yes, as long as they pass the same tests that sis gendered people must pass
