Allow people who are in need to immigrate such as refugees but lower amounts

 @9H3NJ7CConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but always let refugees in, unless they have serious criminal backgrounds or other harmful traits.

 @9GHTBSSfrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

No however anyone whos intending to cause crime or has any criminal record should not be in the country.

Strengthen immigration laws while ensuring sufficient housing and employment are available before immigrants become residents.

Yes, in the sense we don't over populate. Insuring Canadians can still get jobs. etc highschool student, how can they apply for jobs if most jobs are full and have enough employees (ran by immigrants)

 @8X57YRZConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…3yrs3Y

we struggle to support our own population and we still bring more people in

Government should be fair and not be one-sided (i.e. prioritizing immigrants from certain country (like Afghanistan) and should have easier mandates on skilled workers and professionals who shows interest in immigrating into Canada

We shouldn’t let our corporations keep indentured servants who can’t quit the job they came here to do in order to live here if they have also decided that the way in which we let people immigrate here is wrong.

I believe that we should implement the same immigration vetting processes for ALL immigrants. Thorough criminal record checks, to even ensuring the people who are sponsoring them are upstanding. Any religion should not be a factor of denying anyone’s immigration rights.

 @8TMSDPDfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

Expand immigration but ensure tight security checks and skills and language requirements.

Yes, but make the process easier for family members that are being petitioned by a canadian

 @98WRY44from Manitoba  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but make the process easier for skilled workers, and screen immigrants for criminal backgrounds, and regularly review immigrants to ensure they have become productive citizens.

I feel as though the process should be easier for refugees but they should also be screened for criminal backgrounds. There should also be checking in on the immigrants and making sure they become productive citizens and haven't been discriminated against( when it comes to things like getting jobs).
