Absolutely not, this has been used to keep people of color in prison for unnecessary amount of time. Also, if someone has 4 grams of marijuana, they should spend time in prison.

Not for Marijuana, Majic Mushrooms, or LSD, but for other hardcore drugs that can put people at deadly risk, mandatory minimum prison sentences should be for dealers only.

I think that if its a just a adiction then instead of prison, it should be rehab. However if its dealing fro money then it should be a manidtory minimum for Prison.

There's people serving life in prison for Marijuana. There's people who are serving life in Prison for being in Possession of Marijuana. Not even harmful if it was being used for them and not being sold.
