No, but if it is proven as fact that someone died do to their drugs they should be sentenced to life without parole.

 @B3ZLM7Kfrom British Columbia  answered…4wks4W

To me this depends on that transparency of the dealer with their customers. For instance : a drug dealer who sells cocaine, and doesn’t Cut it with anything, doesn’t deserve the same sentence as a drug dealer who sells cocaine but sneakily cuts it with substances like fentanyl. These are two very different crimes and should be treated as such.

No, unless they are responsible for trafficking really bad drugs such as fentanyl or with evidence that their drugs intendedly were used that killed someone. also foreigners do not have peoples best interests at heart, if foreigners are trafficking drugs they should be executed, there is a lesser evil when it comes to the drug trade, even drug dealers have a sense of community and a care for their community sometimes.

in my opinion I believe the death penalty is stupid unless they killed many people (5 or more) or if they were a child predator, they should also receive the death penalty but if they were involved in drug trafficking no they should not.

 @9K544ZPfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but only if they were trafficking drugs that were highly lethal or were likely to hurt/kill not just the consumers, but the people around them.

 @95YJRW3New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

Maybe. It really depends on how long they were trafficking drugs, why they were trafficking drugs, and if they were forced.

 @94VP9NSfrom British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, if a perpetrator has a criminal background (I don't mean speeding tickets) or has a history of trafficking hard drugs. If one is caught selling to minors, yes.

No, I don't trust the government to decide use of capital punishment. There's simply too many things that could go wrong, especially considering that many death row inmates are actually innocent/potentially falsely convicted. Life in prison instead, and let's decriminalize drugs/even potentially legalize them like Portugal so that nobody dies from tainted drugs in the first place.

No they should not even be brought to court. They should be able to sell drugs like tomatoes the government has no right telling people what they can and cannot buy or sell or put into their body

No, drug traffickers are not the problem, they are the symptom of an ill society

 @8SKYS2Ffrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, because they're just selling something illegal and there are people murdering others but they're not getting the death penalty so I think "No."

 @shaelynjfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, but depends on how far they went, and if anyone got hurt, or if they hurt someone. how bad it really is/was

 @8NDT3MNGreenfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

No. Drug traffickers should be removed from the population through the legalization and regulation of all drugs.

 @Jatzuyufrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, they should, because they give bad influence and are of no use to the country.

No but they should recieve a life sentence if they have been found guilty more than 3 times

 @8F2BHV7from British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but in order to decree a fair punishment you need to carefully assess their involvement (drug mules i.e.).

 @8DYFVBGGreenfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

If they were directly related for a death or repeated offences then perhaps

 @8CSXYMTfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only if they proven guilty to murder, including the people who died from the drug they trafficked

 @99S2JQYfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @97P78DMfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

Individuals who traffic drugs are drug addicts themselves. They need rehabilitation not incarceration among other criminals. Jails and prisons create better criminals.

 @9ZK3JNSfrom British Columbia  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, but only if there is evidence they trafficked hardcore life destroying drugs such as fentanyl or proof that they were lacing drugs with worse things like fentanyl.
