People without cars are practically kicked out of society because there's no suitable replacement as public transportation is so poor. Bikes aren't always the answer as we have built our nation with the usage of space as the smallest priority and thus everything is too spaced out to get anywhere on a bike.

Public Transportation is already good, we don't need to involve more money into it. More public transportation ways will give more harmful emissions.

Population in Canada has increased by approximately 14% since 2010. Now that there is more need for public transport, roads should be widened as if more busses are put on the road, it would cause total chaos at rush hour.

Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission has lost about 40 million dollars over the last year due to people not paying the full bus fare. People are unhappy with late buses and having to wait extended periods of time for their bus to ''eventually'' come. With that being said, the city is charging too much for non-reliable services and people are unhappy. (CBC 2023)

For example 1 train could take 2000 cars off the road. A public transport system with 20 trains could take 40,000 cars off road

The amount of money and public taxes that many other people wouldn't be involved with can cause many health and transportation issues.

$3.75 is too much for just a bus ride.. especially if you are only riding the bus for a couple stops

Increasing it will also affect many people who have to travel to a far place because of the price that has increased and it will be also pricey for people who have to go back and forth especially workers who don't have cars or people who have to go to school, university.

If the public transport continues at this pace, it will start affecting the enviroment for ex- pollution will increase as there are more and more people immigrating to canada.

To make people agree with my No position on public transportation is that it would only make sense to take a bus if you live in extremely large cities.
