In September 2022, an estimated 120.6 million passenger trips were taken on Canada's urban transit networks which is a very huge data. Numerous people are depended on public transportation and most of them are happily using it.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT SHOULD BE ALLOWED BECAUSE PEOPLE UNABLE TO ACQUIRE A PERSONAL TRANSPORT MEANS DEPEND ON IT.

Traveling will become more affordable for citizens as they can choose the fare that suits their needs.
@9FDYKTW2yrs2Y
No, I don't agree with this. The public transportation fare should be the same for all citizens irrespective of their income. This would create inequality between the poor and the rich.

Most of the public depend on public transportation as not everyone can afford private vehicle so, it is very crucial to increase the number of public vehicles as well as improve current transportation scenario.

Create incentives like discount train ride days or free rides to local attractions to further entice people to the public transit options. Ultimately, the goal is to get people excited and encourage them to have positive feelings toward public transportation.
By doing this government can increase, economical benefits, social equity, efficiency and space utilisation. It mainly helps to reduced dependence on oil.

Speaking about Toronto specifically, so much money has gone into public transportation but nothing gets built or fixed on time. It just drags on for years and years whereas other countries build things much faster. Eglinton LRT is an example of what could have been built in a few years and has now become the joke of the city. The "track work" that they've been working on, to the inconvenience of Toronto citizens, to make the subway faster has done nothing except slow things down. It takes me 5% longer to get to work than it did 2 years ago. This government money is being wasted. The contractors take 10x longer because they bill by the hour

I think People shouldn't pay over 3/4 dollars on Just transportation But I still believe that we should all be able to access public transportation
@9FC85B82yrs2Y
access to transportation is one of the leading predictors of poverty and economic mobility, by government investing in public transit which may not be profitable we will enhance the standard of living for many in poverty
@9FD56LK2yrs2Y
The government will not be able to support us when going to court to sue them, with evidential proof from citizens and a leader of high authority, privatized public transportation will have to go back to the Government's controlled Public Transportation.

My best counter argument for public transportation is if you are in a smaller town it is better if you would take your transportation object because it makes more sense in bigger places.
