Increase tax incentices for companies that make biodegradable products/ recycleables and make tax penalties for companies that make non-biodegradable products/ non-recycleable, and not over charging on products for consumers
@9GYSNHD1yr1Y
Yes, but develop alternatives that still function as intended like drink straws that don't degrade during initial use.
@9GC43R51yr1Y
In my opinion it should be banned somewhat like we should use them until we expect a good alternative
@9BX369M2yrs2Y
No they shouldn’t be banned just less popular
@964L9G93yrs3Y
No, but tax them heavily so that they are disincentivized
@937CKPB3yrs3Y
yes if their is an effective alternative.
@8XMZZWK3yrs3Y
Yes, and give grants to companies to make better biodegradable stuff.
@8WPMZ8V3yrs3Y
No, many disabled people need plastic straws and cups.
@8WP8GZY3yrs3Y
whatevers best for the enviroment
@8WF3Q3F4yrs4Y
I feel that they should keep certain things the way they are and worry more about the bigger things that can effect the environment
@8RW6CMM4yrs4Y
Yes, however have products available that still can aid people with disabilities that may need to use plastic straws, but might have allergies that prevent them from using reusable straws
@8R7H5NB4yrs4Y
try to lower the amount used
@8PPC2NJ4yrs4Y
No, but tax them to make them less profitable to make and buy.
@8P42CQ94yrs4Y
I'm very neutral on the subject
@8NWMMMQ4yrs4Y
Efforts should be made to reduce non biodegradable materials and find alternative options that will have less of a harmful impact on the earth.
@98NK33G2yrs2Y
not plastic cups and stroll
They shouldn't be banned, however, create a system where they can be recycled and also increase tax incentives on companies. They should have a light penalty.
@8LQJ4VFNew Democratic4yrs4Y
Not banned because I feel like for packaging foods ect plastics will be needed until better materials or reusable materials are made. But for the time being YES, increase tax incentives for companies that make biodegradable products. Make the greedy companies see dollar signs because thats their version of the light.

If Its suposed to keep being used like reuseable straws, or cloths, then I dont think they should be banned. but for other things that are suposed to be only a one time use thing then I feel like they should be banned or people should take more acountblitty on that, unless the products can be turned into something else.
