Yes, the CBC is an integral part of our society, and encourages good programming of what's happening in our backyard.

I think government funding to CBC should be redirected and have less government control over the press.

 @9F2XS9Mfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

The government should decrease the funding, because a lot of what we see on the news is either fake, dramatized, or straight up a lie.

Defund the CBC and remake into a model that maintains Canadian culture and provides accurate not partisan information.

 @8W4BGQ5New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

No and eliminate funding! The CBC is a corrupt liberal mouthpiece for which Justin Trudeau expels his lies out to the Canadian people! Disgusting!

This is a tough questions to answer due to limited transparency within the CBC, and the subsequent inability for the public to form an educated opinion.

 @8V5L8N2People’sfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

No because we all know already that CBC and all broadcasting in Canada is full or propaganda and no truthful reporting is actually done

 @Steeviemacfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and funding should be diverted to a non-partisan public broadcasting service, supplemented with viewer and corporate donations.

No, and they should limit their scope. Remove commercials from tv and radio and stop charging for services for Canadians.

 @8QFCQGTNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if the CBC becomes non profit and standards are set to ensure fair and unbiased reporting.

 @8JDRVHPfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

The government should have no right to influence our public broad cast. I feel the information we get is sensored

 @8CCZXDPfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes and make it a non-profit organization that pays interviewees and sources from marginalized communities to prevent exploitation. And have journalists confront their own biases within their body of work. You cannot be impartial - you just can't, so instead be honest and fair.

Yes, and it should be a consistent amount that isn't politicized (although some politicians make it that way.)

 @9BK2RQ6from British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

Have a healthy amount of funding for the CBC, APTN, and the Canada Council for the Arts as well as other arts organizations.
