Yes, but also enact a US-Style Fairness Doctrine to ensure equal & fair coverage on all news networks.
@9F5KMPV2yrs2Y
Increase funding to public broadcasting. Invest in bi partisan public broadcasting so every Canadian has access to quality news. Every area should be required to have a public broadcasting station that works on radio and on TV. Every Canadian should be able to access the news and it should be non political and funded by the government.
@B2BMK7B3mos3MO
Yes, but also increase its independence & ensure it does not show bias towards nor against the government or opposition parties.
@9YNBMP45mos5MO
No, and eliminate funding and sell off all assets. The government should not be in the business of creating or influencing culture.
@9RGCB9P9mos9MO
I believe it should be a general Canadian funding agreement and not associated with any singular party and backed by fact checking
@9MKYHZ711mos11MO
No, but reform the CBC to be a government entity that is non-biased and provides basic factual independently verified news to all Canadians
@8TWDTHBConservative4yrs4Y
Only if it is reformed from it's current state. If it cannot be made into a federated entity that better serves parts of Canada other than Toronto, it should be privatized and sold.

Yes, all parties should increase funding to any media outlet that deems suitable for the party in order to gain an advantage. Although the cbc is bias toward the liberal party, its no different than other media outlets that are bias towards the ucp and other parties.
@96KSTFXConservative3yrs3Y
Government shouldn’t have any involvement in news sourcs
@94445YW3yrs3Y
I am satisfied with the current amount of funding
The CBC should cease to exist, like yesterday
@8YTL4ZM3yrs3Y
Neither increase or decrease
@8Y9R7FFConservative3yrs3Y
No because they are biased to begin with
@8V7YTL5New Democratic4yrs4Y
Funding should remain the same
@8V6H3PXConservative4yrs4Y
Make Advertising the main source of income for CBC
@8V4VNFV4yrs4Y
No, the CBC should be disbanded.
@8TZWW9PNew Democratic4yrs4Y
No, keep funding the same
@8TYFKX84yrs4Y
Yes and make the CBC commercial free
@8TW5C4H4yrs4Y
Yes, but only when it's important.
@8RWBJNQ4yrs4Y
@8R97F664yrs4Y
Yes, but only if there is no political influence by any party that is being perpetrated by this company, as we do need 100% un-biased coverage.
@ECrierie4yrs4Y
No, defund the CBC completely.
@8F7JR8G5yrs5Y
Eliminate funding, it creates a biased opinion and gives the government control
@9CFXL4X2yrs2Y
No, why are they getting funded at all?
@9CBLDLC2yrs2Y
only a bit because i want more real news about where i live.
@9C4WP962yrs2Y
Yes any government has the right to increase funding to a partner of choice no matter the party.
@99T5DJC2yrs2Y
Significantly reduce funding and mandate the funds that are given, if any, for specific uses and purposes.
@8VW3BPW4yrs4Y
maybe but transform it from a tv broadcast company to an internet content provider/canadian content distributor/ public content facilitator.
@8TTZF9Q4yrs4Y
@B4PVR5F3 days3D
Funding should be increased but the CBC's mandate should be focused on education, news, and national unity (e.g. broadcasting Canadian hockey games).
