If they are citizens then should be allowed to vote no matter how long they’ve been here for. If they pay taxes and they are citizens

I am unsure. My instinct is all tax payers should vote. But also I can see the risk of destabilization by mass population shift

Permanent Residence's in Canada should be allowed to vote in the elections. There is no reason not to. They still get afflicted by taxes and things that citizens have to deal with. therefore they should be able to vote. Their lives are getting affected, they should have a say.
